Job summary

Dairy-Maid-Dairy is seeking a fleet mechanic to perform basic maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on trucks and trailers. You will diagnose issues with diagnostic tools and work with drivers to ensure accurate problem identification.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1–3 years of mechanic experience; CDL or refrigeration licenses may be needed. This is a first shift position with occasional Saturdays and a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of mechanic, maintenance, or related experience.
• Certification/license – Mechanic, CDL, refrigeration, or related certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.
• Inspect and replace brakes, steering, transmissions, and related components.
• Diagnose mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Interact with drivers to assess issues and determine solutions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with SOPs.
