Job summary

C.R. England is seeking a Fleet Sales & Yard Coordinator to supervise vehicle movement, inspections, and asset tracking within the Salt Lake City facility. You will help with repair timelines, updates, and support the sales process through operational tasks.

The role includes administering the ORBCOMM telematics platform, managing GPS devices, and ensuring accurate fleet visibility and reporting. A CDL and yard experience are preferred for this diversified position.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement.
• Prior tractor-trailer experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors (50%/50%).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate routing of vehicles to Salt Lake for repairs.
• Perform basic condition assessments.
• Complete yard checks in all weather.
• Reposition equipment within the terminal yard.
• Work with maintenance to create and expedite repair schedules.
• Photograph units and upload images for marketing purposes.
• Post vehicles for sale on third-party platforms and monitor listings.
• Respond to sales inquiries via phone, email, and text.
• Assist with coordinating the sales process with the finance team.
• Arrange pickup of sold units and communicate with buyers.
• Coordinate with vendors for ancillary services.
• Shuttle vehicles to/from nearby offsite locations as required.
• Maintain organized documentation using Microsoft Office tools.
• Serve as administrator for the ORBCOMM telematics platform and manage users, assets, and reporting.
• Maintain asset-to-device associations during transfers and fleet changes.

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and safety-focused Fleet Sales & Yard Coordinator to join our logistics team. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient movement, inspection, and tracking of vehicles within our facility. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating repair timelines, providing regular status updates, and supporting the sales process through various operational and administrative tasks. Additionally, this position will serve as an administrator for the ORBCOMM telematics platform, managing GPS device assignments and reassignments, maintaining accurate asset tracking records, supporting system users, and ensuring the integrity of fleet visibility and reporting data

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the routing of vehicles to Salt Lake for trade-related repairs.
• Perform basic condition assessments.
• Complete yard checks of available equipment in any weather.
• Reposition equipment within the terminal yard as necessary.
• Work with the maintenance team to create and expedite repair schedules.
• Photograph units and manage image uploads for marketing purposes.
• Post vehicles for sale via third-party platforms and monitor listing traffic.
• Respond to sales inquiries via phone, email, and text.
• Assist with coordinating the sales process with the finance team.
• Arrange for pickup of sold units and communicate with buyers as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors to facilitate ancillary services.
• Shuttle vehicles to and from nearby offsite locations as required.
• Maintain organized documentation and tracking using Microsoft Office tools.
• Support additional duties and responsibilities as the role evolves over time.
• Serve as the primary administrator for the ORBCOMM telematics platform, managing system configuration, user access, asset tracking, and reporting functions across the fleet
• Maintain accurate asset-to-device associations within the ORBCOMM platform, including the reassignment of GPS units during equipment transfers, replacements, and fleet changes.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement (required).
• Prior experience operating tractor-trailers is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Strong typing skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working both indoors (50%) and outdoors in the terminal yard (50%).
