Job summary

Cemstone is seeking a Fleet/Mechanic in Medford, MN for full-time work restoring and upgrading equipment. The role involves welding, hydraulic hose work, wiring harness handling, and safe shop practices, with driving duties as needed. A Minnesota CDL or ability to obtain within a year, plus a DOT Medical Card, are required.

Strong communication with managers and teammates is essential. Candidates should be detail-oriented with solid mechanical knowledge and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Restore, repair, and upgrade equipment to resemble its original state.
• Frequent use of welders and cutting tools.
• Safe use of air tools to remove built up concrete.
• Disassemble and reassemble sheet metal components on ready-mix trucks.
• Properly assemble and install hydraulic hoses.
• Removal and installation of wiring harnesses.
• Charge out inventory related parts and supplies.
• Work independently or in a team environment.
• Install hydraulic pumps and cylinders.
• Communicate needs and status with managers.
• Practice health, safety and housekeeping per OSHA regulations.
• Drive and transport equipment as needed.
• Maintain relationships with employees, suppliers, and customers.

What You'll Do:

• Perform the steps for the process of restoring, repairing, and upgrading used or worn-out equipment to a condition that resembles its original state.
• Frequent use of welders and cutting tools.
• Safe use of air tools to remove built up concrete.
• Disassemble and reassembly of sheet metal components on ready-mix trucks
• Properly assemble and install hydraulic hoses.
• Removal and installation of wiring harnesses.
• Ability to charge out inventory related parts and supplies.
• Frequently work independently or in a team environment.
• Installation of hydraulic pumps and cylinders.
• Communicate with all managers on a regular basis as to needs, status and issues.
• practice good housekeeping, health, and safety standards per OSHA regulations.
• Drive a variety of equipment and transporting equipment as needed.
• Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers. Promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company and ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
