U-Haul International, Inc. in Daytona Beach is seeking a preventive maintenance technician to service Ford and GMC trucks, performing oil changes, lubrication, tire and brake maintenance, and inspections with our proprietary tools.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred
• Driver’s license required
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
• Basic computer skills required

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts
• Perform tire and brake maintenance
• Occasionally road-test vehicles
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist
• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor
