Job summary

Super Products in Edison, NJ is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain truck-mounted vacuum equipment in both shop and field settings. You will work with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems to keep equipment operating safely and reliably.

The role requires travel for field service and training, with 1st shift hours and a strong focus on safety and teamwork within a growing manufacturing company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three+ years verifiable experience as a mechanic preferred.
• Experience with truck-mounted vacuum equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for field service and training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Read, interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Perform PM inspections of chassis and equipment.
• Service to return rental equipment to “Ready to Rent” status.
• Travel for field service and training as needed.
