Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Massachusetts is seeking an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to perform essential repairs on a diverse fleet of Budget trucks. You'll handle oil, fluids, brakes, suspension, and warranty work, with opportunities to assist senior techs as you grow.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of auto repair experience, at least one ASE certification, and a valid driver's license. This on-site role offers hands-on training, benefits, and a chance to contribute to fleet reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience.
• Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C).
• Must be able to obtain DOT medical clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on newer moving vans and box trucks.
• Oil, fluids, lubrication, tire repairs, brakes and suspension work, and warranty repairs.
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and more complex repairs.
• May be required to drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing.
• Help keep vehicles safe, reliable, and available for customers.
