Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a 7-year background check without felony history.
• Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test.
• Ability to pass an IPCS Physical Capabilities Test.

Compensation

• Hourly pay with yearly income potential of $45,000-$60,000 per year (includes overtime)
• Pay rate commensurate with experience

Shift

Day shift, 24/7 call out availability

Candidates

• Minimum 2‑year experience in mechanical field, preventative maintenance minded
• Must have own tools (yearly tool allowance provided)
• Experience and knowledge working with Air, Electrical, Hydraulic and Diesel systems and components
• Valid driver's license

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair forklifts, company vehicles, and hostler fleet
• Maintain Hostler Fleet
• Assist in other areas as needed by managers

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Advanced knowledge of railroad industry from vocational education, apprenticeship, on‑job training, or similar experience
• Ability to pass a 7‑year background check (no felony within last 7 years, jail time in last 5 years disqualifies)
• Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test
• Ability to pass an IPCS Physical Capabilities Test
• No GED or diploma required
