Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a Warehouse/ forklift operator in Omaha, NE to move products from trailers, stage pallets, and support efficient warehouse flow. You will operate a forklift, adhere to safety standards, and help maintain product quality throughout receiving and distribution.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 6–12 months of warehouse experience; OSHA forklift certification is preferred to enhance performance and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Responsible for moving product with a forklift or pallet jack from trailer to another area of the warehouse dock during receiving process. Observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities:

• Move product from trailer to appropriate dock staging area in a safe, efficient manner.
• Sort and segregate pallets / product, as necessary.
• Check product for damages and alert receivers , if necessary.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
