Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a warehouse teammate to move products using a forklift or pallet jack from the trailer to dock areas, ensuring safety and quality standards are met while maintaining efficient workflow.

The role involves moving pallets, sorting stock, checking for damages, and collaborating with receivers and teammates to support our distribution operations. Prior warehouse experience and a forklift certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months of warehouse/production experience.
• OSHA forklift operator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move product from trailer to the dock staging area safely and efficiently.
• Sort and segregate pallets and product as needed.
• Check for damages and alert receivers if necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

Responsible for moving product with a forklift or pallet jack from trailer to another area of the warehouse dock during receiving process. Observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities:

• Move product from trailer to appropriate dock staging area in a safe, efficient manner.
• Sort and segregate pallets / product, as necessary.
• Check product for damages and alert receivers , if necessary.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
