Job summary

Coastal Sunbelt Produce is seeking a dock port operator to back trucks to the dock at the correct doors and verify the truck is ready for routes. You will also handle basic customer relations, supervise personnel on-site, and support maintenance checks to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires CDL Class A, ability to meet DOT regulations, and a minimum age of 21. You will perform other duties as assigned by management in a fast-paced distribution environment in Laurel, MD.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• CDL Class A license preferred.
• Must meet CDL and DOT requirements including age 21 and no recent drug/alcohol violations.

Qualifications

Education

• Degrees/Certificates Minimum Required:
• High School or GED or equivalent
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class A preferred
• Important Notice for CDL Holders: If you hold a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), you will be designated as a CDL driver for Sysco, regardless of the specific position for which you are applying. As a result, this classification may affect your job responsibilities and will subject you to compliance requirements under Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations — including participation in the DOT Drug and Alcohol Random Testing Program. Candidates must have:
• Be 21 years or older
• No drug or alcohol violations within the past 3 years
• No open violations listed in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse

Experience
