Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a dependable Dock/Driver role. The incumbent will back trucks to the dock doors, ensure the tractor and trailer are safe and ready to run routes, and perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and a CDL Class A preferred. Experience with trailer drops/hooks and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are desired. Must meet DOT requirements and be 21+.

Job Summary:

Responsible for backing trucks to the dock at the appropriate doors while ensuring that the truck is functioning properly to perform the route, and performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects
• Make applicable truck moves by backing trucks up to the dock at the correct door
• Ensure truck temperatures are set appropriately and operating properly to perform the route.
• Other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Degrees/Certificates Minimum Required:
• High School or GED or equivalent
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class A preferred

• Ability to lift product up to 50 lbs., infrequent lifting to 80 lbs.
• Must be able to climb on and off the box of the truck
