Job summary

Reading Truck is seeking a Truck Installation Technician III in Phoenix, AZ to install specialty truck equipment under supervision. You will work on bodies, plows, and other accessories, mounting hitches and racks, with basic weld experience welcomed.

Interact with a shop team and follow PPE rules for safe operations. The role offers a $2,250 sign-on bonus for qualified technicians hired at level II-IV, with opportunities to train with other mechanics and advance within Reading Truck's large

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding skills (metal and aluminum).
• 2+ years of electrical wiring experience.
• Ability to build schematics.
• Hydraulics knowledge is a plus.
• Independent ability to troubleshoot.
• Operate power hand tools (and have basic tools).

Responsibilities

• Install truck bodies, plows, and other commercial truck accessories.
• Mount hitches, shelves, ladders, racks, mud flaps, etc.

How You Will Make an Impact

ATruck Installation TechnicianIIIat Reading Truck works under the direction of the Shop Supervisor to complete the installation of specialty truck equipment

such as service utility bodies, stake bodies, dump bodies, hitches, and other

commercial truck accessories.

Follow safety rules and comply with all PPE requirements.

• Install truck bodies, plows, commercial truck accessories
• Mount hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, mud flaps, etc.
• Basic weld experience (helpful)
• Train with other mechanics as needed
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager

Required Credentials

• 2+ years of welding skills (metal and aluminum)
• 2+ years of electrical wiring
• Ability to build schematics
• Complex Hydraulics knowledge and experience (a plus)
• Independent ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to operate power hand tools (and have basic tools)
