Job summary

Reading Truck in Claremore is seeking Truck Technicians to install specialty truck equipment in a fast-paced shop. Experience from tech school, industry, or personal hobby is preferred. You will install electronics, PTO pumps, hydraulic hoses, and accessories like ladder racks and back-up cameras.

You may train new mechanics and handle hazardous materials as needed. Team members must supply their own tools. Reading Truck offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience from tech school, industry, or personal hobby.
• Willingness to work in a high-volume shop.
• Ability to install electronics and troubleshoot.
• ASC certification preferred.
• Must supply own tools.
• Hazardous material handling may be required.
• Train other mechanics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install electronics and troubleshoot systems.
• Install PTO pumps and troubleshoot.
• Assemble hydraulic hoses and troubleshoot.
• Mount hitches, shelves and drawers.
• Install ladder racks, mud flaps.
• Install back-up cameras.
• Train new mechanics as needed.
• Handle or move hazardous materials as required.

Reading Truck is now seeking Truck Technicians for our Claremore Manufacturing Facility.

Our talented Truck Install Technicians work to complete the installation of specialty truck equipment. Experience preferred from tech school, industry or personal hobby. The cool thing about it... you get paid to play with trucks!

The Nuts and Bolts:

• Install Electronics / troubleshooting
• Install PTO Pumps / troubleshooting
• Hydraulic Hose assembly / Troubleshooting
• Mount hitches, shelves, drawers
• Install ladder racks, mud flaps
• Install back-up cameras
• Train new mechanics as needed
• May be required to handle, move, or perform administrative tasks involving Hazardous material
• Team Members must supply their own tools
• ASC Certification preferred, or inquire how to gain while employed with us
