Job summary

Titan America is seeking an experienced Truck Maintenance Helper to keep mixer trucks, loaders and other heavy equipment in top condition at its Richmond, VA facility and nearby sites. You will diagnose engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, and perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and work orders, completing repair documentation, and traveling as needed. A high school diploma and willingness to work outdoors are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of automotive or commercial vehicle repair experience required.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulics, suspensions and electrical systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance inspections and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repair of mixer trucks, loaders and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, suspensions, drive-train components, electrical, A/C, brakes and diagnostics.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work orders to troubleshoot and install equipment.
• Conduct daily preventive maintenance inspections and PMIs; prioritize repairs to maximize uptime.
• Document parts usage, repair times, and paperwork associated with vehicle repairs.
• Travel between local sites as needed and operate under limited supervision.
