Job summary

U-Haul is hiring a preventive maintenance technician to service Ford and GMC trucks at our Atlanta facility. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections and minor repairs to ensure fleet reliability for customers.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork and adherence to U-Haul standards. Training programs are provided, with opportunities for advancement within a large, family-oriented organization.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regular attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary pre-inspection checklist.
• Assist in other areas as directed by supervision.
