Job summary

Transport Refrigeration of NW Arkansas, Inc. in Lowell, AR is seeking a hands-on Truck Equipment Installer / Welder to join our team. You will install truck bodies and commercial equipment, weld and fabricate with steel, stainless, and aluminum, and work with PTO and hydraulic systems.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, welding and fabrication experience, and a valid driver's license. Forklift certification and a personal toolbox are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Welding and fabrication experience required.
• Experience with truck equipment installation preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and vehicle equipment.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license; forklift certification may be required.
• Personal toolbox and required tools.

Responsibilities

• Install truck bodies and commercial vehicle equipment
• Weld and fabricate steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Install PTO and hydraulic systems
• Perform road service and customer service calls
• Operate forklifts, hoists, company vehicles, and customer vehicles
• Service and repair company vehicles and equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop
• Complete work efficiently and meet standard repair times
