Job summary

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Acworth, GA is seeking a full-time Installer to assemble, install, and customize a variety of heavy-duty work truck bodies. This position works Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

No experience needed - Training is provided for motivated and dependable candidates. You'll read instructions, gather materials, and assemble equipment, then test performance before handing units to the final audit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install equipment such as: service bodies, platforms, van packages, hoists, electrical components and circuits, shelving and drawer systems, ladder racks, and other mechanical items.
• Read work instructions and installation directions.
• Gather materials and properly assemble equipment.
• Test performance before delivering units to a final audit.
