Job summary

TGI Office Automation seeks a motivated Logistics team member in Fort Lauderdale to deliver printers and copiers, set them up, and handle shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. The role covers multiple counties and requires safe forklift operation and data-entry tasks in a fast-paced warehouse.

Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and warehouse experience. Competitive benefits and full-time hours are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid and unexpired driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL license is a plus.
• Experience driving a box truck.
• Experience operating a forklift and working in a warehouse for 1 year or more is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted and 150 lbs assisted; stand for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver printers and copiers to customers and set them up for use.
• Drive in Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and St Lucie counties.
• Process, package and ship orders accurately.
• Use on-site UPS system for shipping and receiving.
• Cross-check product quantities and build orders for installation or delivery.
• Operate forklift and warehouse equipment safely and competently.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.
• Aim to meet productivity goals and follow inspection procedures.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities:

• Delivering printers and copiers to customers and setting them up for use
• Driving area: Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and St Lucie counties
• Process, package and ship orders accurately
• Shipping and receiving supplies using on-site UPS system
• Cross-checking product quantities,
• Pulling and building orders to be installed and/or delivered
• Operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment (Pallet Jack, Hand Truck, Stair Climber) in a safe and competent manner
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse
• Strive for achievement of productivity goals
• Follow corporate instructions for inspection processing. Inspect products for defects and damages. Report damaged merchandise to supervisor
• Capable of using a warehouse data system (E-auto/ ERP system)
• Performs other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High School Degree or GED
• Valid and unexpired driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL license is a plus
• Experience driving a box truck
• Experience operating a forklift and working in a warehouse for a 1 year or more is a plus
• Physical ability: standing for long hours, bending and kneeling, frequently lifting and moving material weighing 20lbs.and more. Able to lift 75lbs unassisted and 150lbs assisted. Able to stand and remain on feet for up to 8 hours per day, 4 hours continuously
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills (data entry) and Outlook e-mail
• Excellent attention to detail, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, strong time management skills, ability to follow instructions, dependable and dedicated, communication skills, great problem-solving skills, team player, self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work

$40,000 - $50,000 per year (based on experience)
