Rexel USA, Inc. in Shreveport, LA is hiring a Truck Driver to deliver materials to customers and branches. Role involves loading/unloading, documentation, and meeting safety regulations. No CDL required; on-site role with training and mentorship of newer drivers.

Ideal candidates will have a valid license, be 21+, pass MVR checks, and maintain medical certification. Opportunities to assist in branches and learn multiple duties are available.

Qualifications

• Must attend company driver training if no prior experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment and annual review of the MVR.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended license for a traffic incident in past 3 years.
• Must not have any at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and complete a daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report repairs.
• Follow DOT and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load or unload material and verify quantity/type before departure.
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Complete delivery documentation with customer signature.
• Pick up material returns and verify condition, quantities, catalog numbers.
• Pick up material from suppliers.
• Senior Truck Driver may mentor entry-level drivers.
• Perform other duties in branch as required including counter sales.
