Job summary

The Toro Company in Windom, MN is seeking outside truck drivers. Starting pay is $31.63/hour with a $1.50/hour shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shift. Shifts available: 1st 7:00am-3:30pm, 2nd 3:30pm-12:00am, 3rd 11:00pm-7:30am.

CDL Class A required; duties include receiving, staging, counting, and delivering parts at outside locations. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, signing for shipments, operating motorized equipment safely, and performing minor repairs.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Available for 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Strong count/record-keeping abilities.
• Sound safety awareness and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Receive and move parts from various sources and stage them at outside locations.
• Maintain accurate physical counts; sign for correct shipments and record discrepancies.
• Deliver parts in an orderly manner to designated locations.
• Prepare documentation for part numbers, descriptions, counts and storage locations.
• Verify counts of trailer loads and inventory across locations.
• Record material information using a CRT terminal.
• Take physical inventory and compare with records; report variances.
• Operate motorized equipment safely; report any deficiencies to supervision.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs on assigned equipment.
• Load and unload goods; operate supporting equipment as needed.

Responsible for accurate physical count. May sign for correct shipments and records any quantity discrepancies or parts damaged. Delivers parts in an orderly manner to the proper designation needed* Prepares all necessary documentation needed to maintain records indicating part number, description, count and storage locations. Responsible for the count accuracy of trailer loads or parts being moved from one location to another. May record material information by use of a CRT terminal.* Takes physical inventory of parts in outside locations by counting or weighing to verify counts of received and/or stored parts on hand with inventory control records.* Must operate all motorized equipment in an orderly and safe manner. Reports operating deficiencies to Maintenance or Material Handling Supervisor. Performs minor mechanical repairs to all assigned motorized equipment.* Will load and unload bails and operate any supporting equipment necessary as needed. **What Do You Need?**Responsible for preparation and maintenance of records, must be accurate in counts; identification of parts received and stored; responsible for placing goods in a safe and orderly manner; and required to have knowledge of the warehouse location and inventory control system and of plant operation to route parts to proper locations. Legible handwriting is required**.
