Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking experienced truck drivers to unload freight using roller conveyors. The role requires a valid CDL Class A and a clean driving record, with at least 3 months of OTR or regional experience. You must pass a DOT drug screen and meet safety standards.

The position offers weekly home time and 2 days off per week, with routes across multiple states. Expect 2–3 loads per week with 4–5 stops per load and 100% touch freight.

Qualifications

• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks required.
• No major violations in the specified timeframes (moving, accidents, DUI).
• 5 days on with 2 days home weekly (home weekly requirement).

Account

$1600 to $2100 per week.

Home Weekly

5 out and 2 days home with your family, (Operating Area: MN, SD, ND, IA, NE, KS, MO, AR, OK, TN and KY).

Load

2 to 3 loads per week and 4 to 5 stops per load. (100% touch freight).

Duties

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).
• Moving Violation:
• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.
• Accident:
• No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the the past 5 years.
• Personal vehicle or company vehicle count.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.
• Terminations:
• Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.
• Felonies and Misdemeanors:
• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.
• DUI/DWI:
• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
