Job summary

Overhaul Carriers Ltd. seeks experienced drivers to run the Joliet, IL area with routes into WI, IA, MN, MI, IN and Northern KY. Expect 5 days on the road with 2 days home weekly, and 3 loads per week, with on-time freight delivery and thorough pre- and post-trip inspections.

Candidates must hold a valid CDL Class A, have a clean driving record, and pass a DOT drug screen. Prior over-the-road or regional experience preferred; corporate policies require safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

$1750 to $2000 per week.

Home Weekly

5 out and 2 days home with your family, (Operating Area: Joliet, IL to WI, IA, MN, MI, IN and Northern KY).

Load

3 loads per week.

Duties

Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements

Moving Violation

No more 3 in the last 3 years. No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years. No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Accident

No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the the past 5 years. Rollover. Personal vehicle or company vehicle count. No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Terminations

Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.

Felonies and Misdemeanors

Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed. Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI

No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever. No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime. No DUI's within the past 5 years.
