Job summary

Trans-Matic Mfg. Co in Holland, MI seeks a delivery driver responsible for driving a delivery truck, following established routes, and delivering products safely and on time. You will interact with customers professionally and ensure accurate orders and proper paperwork are completed.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL with a clean driving record, ability to lift 50 pounds, and strong communication and time management skills. Prior delivery experience is preferred.

• Interact with customers in a polite and professional manner to ensure satisfaction.
• Compile delivery-related paperwork or reports as required.
• Report any damage or worn equipment to the Logistics Manager.
• Maintain a clean, presentable vehicle.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transport and deliver new products to clients in a safe and timely manner.


• Follow planned routes, timetables, and local traffic rules to guarantee safe and efficient delivery.


• Assure loads are loaded in a stable and safe manner.


• Double-check orders before and after delivery to guarantee correctness and accuracy.


• Assure customer satisfaction by interacting with them in a polite and professional manner.


• Compile any delivery-related paperwork or reports that are required.


• Report any damage or worn equipment on the truck and/or van to Logistics Manager.


• Maintain clean presentable vehicle.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)


• A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and a clean driving record are required.


• Previous experience as a delivery driver or related job preferred.


• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
