Job summary

North Wind Portage is seeking a Driver/Overhead Crane Laborer for the UMTRA project in Moab, UT. The role involves operating trucks and overhead cranes to transport low-level radioactive waste tailings, with strict safety and regulatory adherence and willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 3 years of experience with construction-related trucks, and a valid driver license. Pre-employment checks and background screening are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience operating and driving construction trucks.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug testing.
• Must have a valid driver license and be able to obtain DoE credentials.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks and overhead cranes per project policies.
• Inspect equipment and ensure proper sealing of containers.
• Complete all required project paperwork in compliance with law.
• Maintain production levels to meet service schedules.
• Follow regulatory requirements for safe driving and maintenance.
• Coordinate with team to perform multiple job functions.
