Job summary

Penske is hiring CDL Class A truck drivers for immediate full-time opportunities. You will drive late-model Penske trucks, deliver products to stores, and spend most days at home with 2–3 layovers weekly.

Earn $31.58 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours, with comprehensive benefits and company-provided uniforms. Qualified candidates must have a valid Class A CDL, a DOT medical card, 1–2 years of tractor-trailer experience, a clean DMV record, and pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required; applicants domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state
• DOT medical card required or ability to obtain
• 1 year tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations/accidents
• Follow all federal/state laws, regulations and guidelines
• Regular, predictable attendance essential
• English language proficiency required per federal law
• Pass background check and drug screening; Penske employment application
• Role is safety-sensitive and requires alertness and safety focus

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to stores using electric pallet jack
• Mostly home daily with 2 to 3 layovers per week

  Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
  • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
  • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
