Job summary

CHS Inc. is looking for a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist to join our team. You will haul agronomy products to local farmer customers in the area and ensure timely, safe transportation of goods.

Responsibilities include preparing trucks and railcars, loading/unloading, conducting maintenance, and maintaining inventory quality while adhering to hours-of-service regulations and safety standards. This role requires English proficiency and a valid CDL where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL preferred.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations
• Must meet minimum age requirement
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English

Additional Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends
• Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred
• Valid Class A CDL preferred
• Agriculture background preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs and bins, and into back of trailer
• Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
