Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Kent, WA is seeking a NON CDL Truck Driver to join our team. You will drive solo on day and night routes across OR, WA and ID, with a 40+ hour week and the potential for overtime. The role offers weekly pay, a $28 per hour rate, and benefits after 30 days.

The position emphasizes safety, compliance, and customer service as you operate 36 months or newer trucks with support nationwide. PTO, uniforms, and 401(k) options are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Minimum 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a vehicle and comply with safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards.
• Load/unload freight if required by the customer.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $28.00 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week
• Hotel & Meals Provided for overnights
• Schedule: Monday – Friday; Some Weekends
• Start Time: 6:00 AM

• Deliver SOLOTo: OR, WA and ID
• Route: Day and Night runs available.
• 26' Straight Truck
• Equipment: Pallet Jack, Lift Gate, Stair Crawlers and Tablet
• Freight: Touch – Copy Machines

Ryder Drivers operate well-maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience (*must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck):
• 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

This position does not require the operation of CDL-regulated equipment. However, candidates who possess a valid Commercial Drivers License will be subject to FMCSA requirements, including but not limited to, pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query.

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
