Position: LOCAL HOME DAILY CDL A Driver

Thyssenkrupp is hiring a Local Truck Driver for Rochester, NY, responsible for transporting materials to dedicated customer accounts. Monday through Friday with weekends off!

Responsibilities:

• Verify correct items are loaded for delivery.
• Perform inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure load security.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks; ensure proper securing and weight limits.
• Deliver products and proper paperwork courteously and on time.
• Clean up debris from loading/unloading.
• Maintain trucks and perform required inspections.
• Complete necessary paperwork at shift end, including logs, delivery receipts, etc.
• Collect COD payments and ensure proper handling.
• Provide feedback on customer, mechanical, or delivery issues.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL-A experience
• Excellent driving record
• Flat-bed truck experience
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• High school diploma or GED
