Schedule

Qualifications
  • CDL Class A required.
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
  • Follow all federal/state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • English language proficiency required to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
  • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to background investigation and drug screening.
  • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must take responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.
Physical Requirements
  • See, hear, and have specific vision abilities (close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus).
  • Move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. Use hands to touch, handle and feel; reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
