PADNOS is seeking a CDL A truck driver to operate a variety of trucks and switching trailers at customer locations. Monday through Friday, 5:30 am to 5:30 pm, with duties including delivery, shipping docs, weigh-ins, inspections, and customer service.

The role requires two years of experience with similar vehicles, a clean driving record, a valid CDL A, and the ability to work outdoors. Benefits include competitive wage and comprehensive insurance options.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience driving similar vehicles (Truck Driver II).
• High school diploma.
• CDL Class A license with no manual transmission restriction (E restriction).
• Clean driving record.
• Lift up to 75 lbs while chaining.
• Legible handwriting.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to work independently and be detail oriented.
• Ability to maintain logbooks.
• Willingness to work in an outdoor environment.

Responsabilités

• Goes over the day’s schedule and meets or exceeds daily runs and communicates exceptions with the dispatcher.
• Service customer locations, listens to and solves customer problems, and maintains good customer relations.
• Provide outstanding customer service as a service representative for the company.
• Prepare shipping documents for all loads, weigh all loads and perform initial material inspections.
• Maintain paperwork for scale tickets, shippers, logbooks and trip reports.
• Complete and submit necessary reports, such as accident damage and traffic violation reports.
• Perform daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspection.
• Submit to random drug and alcohol testing as required.
• Inspect loads and tarp/secure loads when necessary.
• Maintain inside of truck.
• Enter trip data into truck computer and operate Nextel phones.
• Be cross trained in different trucks. (Truck Driver II).
• Use good judgment and ensure a safe work environment, adhere to posted speed limits.
• Accountable for preventing and avoiding flat tires.
• Complete scrap material ID sheets.
• Other duties as necessary.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for driving a company truck, such as a Lugger, Rolloff (2-6 axle), Hook Truck, Walking Floor, Flatbed or Super Single and switching trailers or containers at customer account locations. Also responsible for other driving assignments as directed by Dispatch. Actively participates and displays behaviors of the company values.

• Monday - Friday
• 5:30 am - 5:30 pm
