Truck Driver II, Class A CDL with Tanker/Hazmat
The Truck Driver II, Class A CDL with Tanker/Hazmat completes local and out-of-state operations involving moving trucks / trailers for the delivery, pickup and relocation of materials between facilities.

Essential Functions & Requirements:

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
  • Operates trucks over four (4) tons to facilitate Company shipping and receiving operations
  • Operates trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of materials
  • Performs user maintenance on trucks before, during and after operation and provides relevant required reporting
  • Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
  • Maintains all certifications required by the Department of Transportation (DOT), OSHA and Company safety programs
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education:

  • High-school diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience:

  • 3+ years of Class A CDL driving experience (required)
  • 1+ years of Hazmat experience (required)
  • Tanker/Hazmat endorsement (required)

Competencies:

  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with little to no direct supervision
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to understand OSHA safety and DOT regulations
  • Ability to meet company driving qualifications with a CDL
  • Ability to maintain valid endorsements as required
  • Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
