Job Description

What you'll need to succeed as a Truck Driver at XPO

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license
• Safe driving record and history
• Currently possess or be willing to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment
• Pass a DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years
• Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical
• Available to work a flexible schedule up to 12-14 hours a day, including day, night, and weekend shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license
• Safe driving record and history

About The Truck Driver Job

• This is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position

What You'll Do On a Typical Day

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer, including doubles and triples
• Provide excellent customer service, including generating sales leads
• Load and unload freight

Truck Drivers Are Required To

• Lift objects of various sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently, over 75 lbs. occasionally)
• Safely climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailer
• Sit for extended periods and operate heavy equipment and forklifts safely
• Walk and stand on various surfaces, including outdoors in inclement weather
• Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel
• Operate a tractor-trailer for up to 11 hours in all weather conditions
