What you’ll need to succeed as a Truck Driver at XPO

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license
• Safe driving record and history
• Willing to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment
• Pass a DOT drug test with no positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years
• Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical
• Available for flexible schedules up to 12-14 hours, including day, night, and weekend shifts

Preferred qualifications include possessing hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements.

About the Truck Driver Job

Typical Day Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations safely, including doubles and triples
• Provide excellent customer service and generate sales leads
• Load and unload freight

Physical Requirements

• Lift objects up to 50 lbs., occasionally over 75 lbs.
• Climb in/out of cabs, sit for long periods, operate heavy equipment
• Walk, stand, reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel
• Operate vehicle for up to 11 hours in all weather conditions
