What you’ll need to succeed as a Truck Driver at XPO

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license
• Safe driving record and history
• Possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements
• Pass a DOT drug test with no positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years
• Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including up to 12-14 hours a day, day, night, and weekend shifts

About the Truck Driver Job

Pay, benefits, and more:

• Starting pay at $28.49/hour
• This position is exempt under the Motor Carrier Act

What you’ll do on a typical day

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including doubles and triples
• Provide excellent customer service and generate sales leads
• Load and unload freight

Truck Driver Requirements

• Lift objects up to 50 lbs., occasionally over 75 lbs., and move a converter dolly weighing approximately 128 lbs.
• Safely climb in/out of tractor cabs and trailers
• Sit for extended periods and operate heavy equipment and forklifts safely
• Walk and stand on various surfaces, including outdoors in inclement weather
• Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel
• Operate a tractor-trailer for up to 11 hours in all weather conditions, transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials
