Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Fleet Driver to keep our Midwest stores stocked and our supply chain moving. You will operate Class A commercial vehicles, delivering freight on schedule and maintaining a customer-first mindset.

This is a full-time, local-route role with home daily, day/night/weekend/holiday schedules based on business needs. Eligible drivers have a valid CDL-A with Hazmat or ability to obtain, and a proven safety record.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain one.
• One year of truck driving experience or successful completion of an accredited CDL training program.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, road test, and pre-employment drug screen.
• No moving violations within the last year.
• No more than two moving violations within the last three years.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles.
• Deliver freight from distribution centers to stores on schedule.
• Transport vendor backhauls to distribution centers.
• Perform yard switching and trailer movements as needed.
• Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations.
• Represent Meijer with professionalism and a customer-first mindset.
