The Salvation Army in McAllen, Texas seeks a Part-Time role assisting the Truck Driver with loading and unloading of donated materials to support store production and corps operations. You will help with pickups and deliveries, and perform duties as assigned while adhering to safety guidelines.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred but not required), prior box truck driving experience preferred, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Position Type: Part-Time
Assists the Truck Driver in theloading and unloading routine pickups and/or deliveries of material, donated or otherwise, to serve production needs of the store and/ or general operation of corps.
Ability to meet attendance requirements.Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively.Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.Duties require frequent periods of physical mobility including but not limited to standing, walking, climbing, bending, squatting, and lifting. Physical duties may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting.Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with lifting, moving, and carrying heavy objects (up to 100lbs.) frequently.Work requires riding ina vehicle daily with exposure to the outdoors where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
