Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking a full-time Truck Driver to deliver materials to customer job sites, operate a forklift, and maintain the lumber yard and warehouse. A valid license and clean driving record are required, with forklift certification preferred.

Starting pay is $17/hr plus weekly overtime and opportunities for advancement. The comprehensive benefits package includes PTO, medical/dental/vision, holiday pay, FSA, and a 401(k) with employer matching.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand highway signs and signals.
• Provide (annually) a true copy of your MVR and a list of violations or the certificate as required by FMCSA.
• Be physically qualified to drive a CMV per FMCSA.
• Not be disqualified to drive a CMV.
• Complete or have completed a driver’s road test and hold a valid certificate of driver’s road test.
• May be required to have a CMV license depending on truck/hauler.
• May be required to have a Medical Exam certificate.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Building loads for delivery and unloading freight including lumber and building supplies
• Forklift training, certification, and operation
• Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard and warehouse
