Job summary

84 Lumber Company is seeking a dependable Truck Driver to deliver building materials to customer job sites and maintain yard operations. You will operate a forklift, manage loads, and uphold safety and accuracy in daily duties.

We require a clean driving record, valid CDL or licensing as applicable, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and reliability. Starting pay is $17/hr with weekly OT and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and read reports.
• Operate a commercial motor vehicle safely and legally.
• Provide annual MVR and violations list as required by FMCSA.
• Be physically qualified to drive a CMV under FMCSA rules.
• Not be disqualified to drive a CMV under FMCSA.
• Obtain a road test certificate and valid license if required.
• May need a CDL depending on truck/hauler.
• May need a Medical Exam certificate or card.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customer job sites and unload freight.
• Operate a forklift for loading and placement of materials.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized lumber yard and warehouse.
• Communicate delays or discrepancies to management.
• Other duties as assigned.
