Job summary

Yellowhouse Machinery Co. in Midland, TX is seeking a reliable Haul Truck Driver to transport equipment to customers and between dealer facilities. You will load, secure loads, and support delivery with strong safety and DOT compliance.

Qualified candidates have a valid CDL and 3+ years of experience hauling heavy construction equipment, with ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and a team-first approach. Employer-paid health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K and PTO are included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of verifiable heavy construction equipment hauling experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to interact effectively with department personnel and customers.
• Ability to organize thoughts and communicate effectively.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Transports equipment to/from customers and between dealer facilities.
• Loads and unloads equipment and ensures proper load securement.
• Supports the sales and service departments with equipment delivery as needed.
• Works with the Store Manager in setting up the trucking schedule and hauling regulations.
• Promotes and adheres to company policy with emphasis on a team mentality.
• Maintains records of pickups and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts.
• Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA, MSHA and company policy.
• Accounts for all time and for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties.
• Maintains assigned trucks and related equipment in good condition.
• May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required.
• Promotes customer service at all times throughout the organization.
• Ensures that company’s reputation and image in the community is consistent with company Core Values.

Requirements

• Valid CDL License.
• 3+ years’ experience with heavy construction equipment hauling, verifiable.
• Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs. repeatedly
• Ability to interact effectively with department personnel and customer base.
• Ability to organize thoughts and communicate effectively.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be a team player.
• Pass a DOT physical, background check, and drug test.
