Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring Full-time Class B CDL Truck Drivers in the Milwaukee area. You will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies, unload with pallet jacks and liftgates, and use a scanner to verify deliveries.

Schedule is Mon-Fri with 11:30 PM dispatch and home daily where possible. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, retirement plans, vacation days from day one, disability insurance, uniforms, and an employee discount program.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsement is required.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency due to federal requirements.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Safety-sensitive role under DOT regulations.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class B CDL Truck Drivers

• Average $71032 annually
• Monday through Friday
• Home daily
• Hazmat endorsement required (upon hire)

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety
• Automatic, day-cab, straight trucks
• Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to customers
• Unload using manual pallet jacks and liftgates
• Use a scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 11:30 PM dispatch until route is complete
• Approximately 45 hours per week
• Approximately 663 miles per week
• Approximately 50 delivery stops per week
• Approximately 10 transfers per week

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
