Job summary

Penske is seeking full-time Class B CDL Truck Drivers at our Milwaukee area location. You will drive late model Penske vehicles on a Monday–Friday schedule, delivering parts to customers, and returning home daily.

Hazmat endorsement is required upon hire and safety standards are emphasized throughout. Expect comprehensive benefits, weekly pay, and opportunities for training and advancement within a nationwide logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B with Airbrake endorsement; domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in your state.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience in the past 5 years.
• Clean DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in 3 years.
• comply with all laws, regulations and safety requirements.
• English language proficiency required due to federal regulations.
• Willingness to pass background checks and drug screening; adhere to schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to customers.
• Unload using manual pallet jacks and liftgates.
• Use a scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class B CDL Truck Drivers

• Average $71032 annually
• Monday through Friday
• Home daily
• Hazmat endorsement required (upon hire)

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety
• Automatic, day-cab, straight trucks
• Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to customers
• Unload using manual pallet jacks and liftgates
• Use a scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 11:30 PM dispatch until route is complete
• Approximately 45 hours per week
• Approximately 663 miles per week
• Approximately 50 delivery stops per week
• Approximately 10 transfers per week

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
