Penske Logistics in Mount Vernon, IL is seeking a full-time CDL Class B delivery driver to move automobile parts to retail locations. You’ll operate late-model Penske trucks, unloading palletized freight, and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsement required.
• U.S. domicile and state license.
• 1 year commercial driving experience (last 5 years).
• 2 or fewer moving violations/accidents in DMV/MVR (3 years).
• English language proficiency required by federal law.
• Able to pass background and drug screening.
• DOT-regulated safety sensitive position.

You will drive:

Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks

• Unload palletized freight with pallet jack

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

7:30 PM start time

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
