Job summary

Hanes Geo Components, a division of Leggett & Platt, is seeking a CDL-B Local Deliver Driver in Vancouver, WA. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, no nights or weekends, and a weekly paycheck.

You will perform local deliveries and, when not delivering, assist in warehouse duties. Required: Class B CDL, ability to lift 75–100 pounds, and strong teamwork with good verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B CDL License.
• Cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written).
• Must be able to follow verbal & written work instructions.
• Able to operate lift trucks.
• Minimum 1-year verifiable truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Must conduct himself/herself as an agent of the company and deal with the customers with proper care and attention.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.
• Warehouse work will be required when not delivering goods.
• Handling daily shipping and receiving of goods.
• Safely operating a forklift.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Accurately locating material in the warehouse.
• Knowledge of bar-coding system.
• Inventory control methods.
