Job summary

Hanes Ge o Components (a division of Leggett & Platt) is seeking a CDL-B Local Deliver Driver to join our team in Vancouver, WA. We offer a competitive hourly rate, no nights or weekends, and a weekly paycheck.

The position requires a Class B CDL license, cooperative attitude, good communication skills, ability to follow instructions, forklift operation, and at least 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience. Warehouse duties and shipping/receiving are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B CDL License.
• Must have cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others.

• Must be able to follow verbal & written work instructions.
• Able to operate lift trucks.
• Minimum 1-year verifiable truck driving experience.

• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.

PRIMARY DUTIES: The primary duties of the employee are (but are not limited to) the following:

• Must conduct himself/herself as an agent of the company and deal with the customers with proper care and attention.
• Ability to lift 75 – 100 pounds.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.

WAREHOUSE DUTIES: Warehousework will be required when not delivering goods.

• Handling daily shipping and receiving of goods
• Safely operating a forklift
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Accurately locating material in the warehouse
• Knowledge of bar-coding system
• Inventory control methods
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.
