Job summary

Penske Logistics in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a full-time CDL Class A Yard Driver. You will drive late-model Penske trucks, move trailers, and perform coupling/uncoupling with a focus on safety and efficiency. Expect home daily, a 2 PM start, and a Monday–Friday schedule.

The role offers competitive pay at $29 per hour with overtime after 40 hours, plus a comprehensive benefits package and retirement plan. Penske values safety and reliability across nationwide locations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and domiciled in the U.S.
• Current or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the past 5
• DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency required
• Follow all federal/state laws and company rules
• Regular, predictable attendance essential; background and drug screening required

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the past 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
