Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Regional Truck Driver in Carol Stream, IL. The role offers weekly pay, extensive benefits, paid training, and generous bonuses while driving a regional route.

You will operate sleeper tractors on a regional route, with home weekly. The schedule is Monday–Friday with start times in the early evening, and a strong emphasis on safety and compliance across all routes.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with endorsements as required
• 9 months to 5 years tractor-trailer experience per history
• Must be at least 21 years old and pass Ryder drug test
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Provide CDL and endorsements for the position

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, Ryder policies and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Avg Annual W2: $96,000+ Mileage Pay: $0.70per Mile
• Stop Pay: $22.50 per stop
• Per Diem: $69.00 per night out

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
