Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Londonderry, NH is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for local, home-daily routes with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will drive day cab tractors with dry van trailers, no-touch freight, and a schedule of Monday to Friday with evenings start. The position includes paid training, medical benefits after 30 days, PTO from day one, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with endorsements for the position.
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in last 5, or 5 years last 10.
• Must be at least 21 years old and pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Must pass Ryder background and motor vehicle checks including prior 3 years.
• Must pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load/unload freight or assist if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
