Ryder employees who drive on this account earn an average of $1450 weekly, and it gets better:

• Ryder drivers are paid weekly.
• Hours per week: 60 or more hours.
• Solo miles pay: $0.35 per mile with 1200 miles per week.
• Solo stops pay: $15.00 per stop with 33-35 stops per week.
• Flat pay per week if 5 days worked: $550 plus miles and stops.
• Paid training.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (occasional Saturdays).
• Start time: 5:30 AM to 4 PM most days.

• Deliver SOLO to a 150-mile radius of Houston.
• Route: Local home daily.
• Tractor type: Day cab.
• Trailer type: Flatbed 48'; 6 months of experience required.
• Equipment: Moffett experience required.
• Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful.
• Freight: Touch – lumber and building materials.

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and company drivers fuel the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years.

• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and standards.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
