Job summary

Alliance Nationwide Exposition is seeking a Class A CDL driver to operate tractors/trailers for local and long-distance trips to tradeshow events. The role includes loading/unloading, meeting delivery deadlines, and maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

Candidates must be 25+, hold a valid Class A CDL with a clean record, pass DOT screenings, and be able to lift 75 lbs. Flexibility in hours is required. High School diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years old or older.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record, background and DOT record.
• Must pass company driving tests.
• DOT physical, preemployment drug screening, Clearinghouse query and ongoing drug testing.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and sit for extended periods with proper equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and schedules.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers on local and distance runs for tradeshows and events.
• Drive company equipment to specified locations in a timely manner.
• Unloads and stacks products with customers in a friendly manner.
• Maintain Hours of Service records using company provided ELD.
• Ensure truck pre-trip and post-trip procedures are followed daily.
• Deliver products to locations and comply with DOT and OSHA standards.
• Keep the work area clean and secure, and assist with warehouse duties as needed.

Job description

Class A CDL drivers will operate Tractor/Trailers on both local and distance runs. Driver will be responsible for driving equipment to tradeshows and events both locally and out of state in
company-provided Tractor/Trailers. Driver will also be responsible for driving loads obtained from various load boards locally and out of state.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Must be proficient in the English Language
• Drives Company equipment in a professional and safe manner at all times.
• Maintain accurate Hours of Service records using company provided ELD
• Delivers products to specified locations in a timely manner.
• Unloads and stacks products with customers in a friendly courteous manner.
• Ensures that delivery paperwork is completed as required.
• Ensures truck pretrip and post trip procedures are followed daily.
• Performs other related warehouse or delivery duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Comply with DOT and OSHA standards.
• Attention to detail is required.

Education & Experience:

• Must be 25 years old
• Must Possess valid Class A CDL with clean driving record, background and DOT record
• Must pass company Driving test(s)
• Successfully complete DOT Physical, preemployment drug screening, Clearinghouse query and ongoing drug testing as mandated by the Department of Transportation/FMCSA.
• Ability to frequently lift 75lbs and push, pull or move any weight with proper equipment and sit for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to work flexible work hours and schedules.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
