Job Description

Summary/Objective: The truck driver performs routine and complex transportation work, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities include driving, maintaining trucks, planning routes, and coordinating with the team.

Essential Functions:

1. Accurately pulling orders for delivery.
2. Properly unloading cargo and checking with Supervisor.
3. Completing Pre/Post Vehicle Inspections daily.
4. Maintaining truck logs per policies and regulations.
5. Fueling, washing, and maintaining vehicles.
6. Contacting Warehouse Manager as needed.
7. Operating warehouse equipment safely.
8. Inspecting items for damage and shipments as needed.
9. Communicating with supervisor about delivery changes.
10. Driving long distances to deliver goods.
11. Keeping CDL up to date.
12. Maintaining positive customer relations.
13. Planning efficient routes.
14. Adhering to safety and security standards.

Requirements:

1. Class A CDL or commercial driver license.
2. Clean driving record.
3. Medical certificate.
